Payment Options:

SGI offers a variety of payment options. You can renew your vehicle registration on an annual basis or you can take advantage of the AutoPay or Short-Term programs.

If you choose to pay on an annual basis, you can pay by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card.

If you choose a Short-Term registration, you choose your own term and make a payment that is affordable to you. Short-Term registration is convenient for seasonally licenced vehicles, like motorhomes, motorcycles, antiques or grain trucks. Registration terms can be as short as 89 days or as long as 364 days. You can pay by cash, cheque, debit card or credit card.

AutoPay allows you the option of making automatic monthly payments (pre-authorized chequing), giving you more flexibility in budgeting your funds. With AutoPay you make a one-time, initial payment equalling one month’s registration and insurance. The initial payment ensures that your insurance coverage isn’t interrupted if there are ever insufficient funds in your bank account. Then your monthly payments are withdrawn each month on the day you select.
